Self-Care Tips

If we truly value life we will repeatedly experience important, meaningful, interesting, delightful and engaging relationships and experiences. What often happens, with all of life’s demands, the precious things get lost among the everyday demands: chores, bills, admin, obligations and worries. If we aren’t careful the latter takes up far to much time and energy away from the former.
 

  • Grab a piece of paper and draw/write down the people, experiences and passions that give your life value.
  • Then write down all that is cluttering your life right now and distracting you from what you value. 


What does it look like to see all the meaningful things in your life and the clutter that gets in the way of them together on the page? Think about the thoughts and feelings that might move you closer to a positive change.  

You can tell your self to ‘GO FOR IT’ or whatever feels right and say NO to life's distracting trivia. Try to be more disciplined with your time and put firmer boundaries in place with people who make demands on you (not children, of course!).
