It was great to see so many people at Reclaim the Night Colchester 2024! 

A huge thank you to everyone who made it such an incredible, empowering night and to Essex Police for all their support!  It was a show of strength and a collective demand for freedom from sexual violence, domestic abuse, street harassment, rape culture, victim blaming and all forms of male violence against women. 

We stood shoulder-to-shoulder to say that we will not be silenced. We made male violence against women and girls visible.

The event was covered in Colchester Gazette  and on BBC Essex, through an interview with CARA's Mandy Maass (you can listen here at 2:10:00), as well as a short interview on Heart FM.
