In January 2026, after a very thorough assessment process, CARA was awarded the Rape Crisis National Service Standards (2024). 

The Standards demonstrate quality and specialism in every aspect of CARA's service provision, including Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) services, emotional support and therapeutic services,  indicating high standards in the following areas:  

• Specialist Service Provision 

• Strong Leadership 

• Responsiveness to Survivors 

• Safe Practice 

• Lasting Impact 

We are very proud to have achieved the Rape Crisis National Service Standards, which are in place until 3031.
