CARA staff and service-users recently attended the Essex High Sheriff's Awards at Hylands House in Chelmsford, where CARA was received an award for our valuable service to community safety in Essex, along with a grant for £13,000 towards the salary of a part-time Young Person's Practitioner.  The grant was awarded from the High Sheriff's Fund, The Sebright Fund, The FW Charitable Fund, The Hollis Family Fund, The Leeze Charitable Fund and the Birketts Charitable Fund, which are all administered by Essex Community Foundation.
