Join us for our second specialist sexual violence and child sexual abuse conference in North and Mid Essex.
This years conference is dedicated to changing the culture by listening to survivors. Primarily aimed at frontline professionals, the conference will include the following presentations:
- Report to court: how the criminal justice system fails rape victims and how we can challenge it, Harriet Wistrich, Founding Director, Centre for Women’s Justice
- Are children’s voices being heard? Responses to CSA allegations among family courts and child protection professionals, Dr Ravi K. Thiara, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, University of Warwick
- Using lived experiences of violence to exact change within communities, Molly Ackhurst, Kelsey Mohamed and Katie Spark, Hollaback London
